DriveAway Holidays was created in 1988 with the vision of offering high quality yet affordable self-drive holidays to the Australian outbound market. From February 2006, DriveAway Holidays expanded to the New Zealand outbound market offering car rental, accommodation and sightseeing products.

Since 2005 DriveAway Holidays have been finalists at the National Travel Industry Awards. In 2006 we won the Award for Excellence in the Best Car Rental Company beating both Hertz and Avis Rent-a-Car. In 2009 we entered the NTIA Hall of Fame, having won the award for Best Car Rental Wholesaler 3 years in a row. This is a testament to our ongoing commitment to high quality service, product and overall professionalism.

With 24 hour/7 day a week customer service available for car rental and Peugeot Leasing, and the concept of "zero fees and zero wait times", DriveAway has firmed itself as a service leader.
