Transfers: Pick Up: Free transfers on vehicle pick up from the airport, or airport or city hotel, to depot. For downtown transfers, the client may use a taxi ('Discount Taxis' in Auckland) and obtain a receipt from the driver and present it to United for reimbursement. Drop Off: Free transfers on departure to the airport or airport hotel only.

Linen & Bedding: Blankets, Duvets, Pillows/Cases, Sheets, Towels.

Vehicle Living Equipment: Cutlery, Can Opener (Casserole Dish (6 Berth only), Chopping Board, Coffee Plunder, Colander, Kitchen Knife, Corkscrew, Dish Brush, Electric Kettle, Electric Toaster, Fish Slide, Frying Pan, Grater, Mixing Bowls, Oven Tray & Dish (6 Berth only), Paring Knife, Plastic Bowls, Plastic Containers, Potato Masher, Salt & Pepper Shakers, Saucepan Set, Serving Spoon, Tea Towels, Tongs, Vegetable Peeler, Whisk, Whistling Kettle, Wooden Spoon, Crockery Set, Water Glasses, Wine Glasses, Coat Hangers, Clothes Pegs, Dustpan and Brush, Toilet Brush, Electric Fan Heater and Gas Heater.

Linen Exchange: Call into either United depot at any time during your hire and they will supply you with a clean set of linen.

Kiwi Holiday Park VIP Membership Card: Includes V.I.P. Membership with a two year validity providing 10% discount at any Kiwi Holiday Park in New Zealand, or Top Tourist Park in Australia.

One Way Hires: Minimum 14 days. One way hires are available free of charge between Auckland and Christchurch vice versa.

Calculation of Rates: Rates are based on seasonal calendar days.

Minimum Age: 21 years.

Maximum Age: No limit.

Licence Requirement: All drivers must have held a current, full, valid licence. The drivers licence must be current and be valid for the whole duration of the rental. For non-English licence holders, they must either carry an accurate English translation of their foreign driver’s licence or an International Driving Permit.

Minimum Rental: 7 days. One Way Hires - Refer to the one way fee clause. Between 20 December-02 January, a minimum rental period of 14 days applies. Subject to change in peak periods i.e. Christmas.

Collection Time: Pick up time is between xxx.

Return Time: Return time is between xxx.

Branch Hours: Daily 8am-5pm. Depots are closed on Christmas Day.

Picnic Table & 2 Chairs: Standard rates - NZD25 + Tax /rental. Included in Inclusive rates.

Additional Picnic Chairs: Standard rates - NZD5 + Tax per chair /rental. Included (per person travelling) in Inclusive rates.

Baby/Capsules/Child Seats: NZD25 + Tax /rental. Included in Inclusive rates.

Snow Chains: Free of charge if required and prebooked.

Bicycle Racks: NZD50 + Tax /rental.

Bicycles: NZD6 + Tax /day, max NZD125 + Tax /rental. NZD100 + Tax excess applies to each bicycle and accessories.

Bicycles Child Seat: NZD25 + Tax /rental.

Mobile Phone: NZD30 + Tax /hire. Includes NZD20 call credit.

GPS Navigation System: NZD5 + Tax /day, max NZD200 + Tax /rental. NZD100 + Tax excess applies to each GPS and accessories.

Insurance/Excess Reduction:

Insurance Excess: Standard rates - NZD5,000 + Tax per incident. Inclusive rates - Nil.

Excess/Liability Reduction Option 1: Standard rates - NZD20 + Tax /day, max NZD1,200 + Tax /rental, reduces the the Insurance Excess to NZD1,200 + Tax per incident for drivers 25+ years and NZD2,400 + Tax per incident for drivers 21-24 years. Inclusive rates - N/A.

Excess/Liability Reduction Option 2: Standard rates - 25+ years: NZD32 + Tax /day, max NZD1,920 + Tax /rental, reduces the the Insurance Excess to Nil. 21-24 years: NZD44 + Tax /day, max NZD2,640 + Tax /rental, reduces the the Insurance Excess to Nil. Included in Inclusive rates.

Additional Information:

Vehicle Age: All United Campervans are guaranteed to be under 3 years old. Vehicles cannot be requested by model, mileage or age, only by vehicle category.

Security Deposit: Cash - Accepted. Credit Card - Preferred. Standard Rates - deposit NZD5,000, NZD2,400, NZD1,200 or NZD150, depending on the age of the driver and/or the insurance cover the client has. Inclusive Rates - deposit NZD150. United accept Visa and MasterCard only.

Animals in Vehicle: No animals are permitted inside the motorhomes.

Smoking in Vehicles: Smoking is not permitted in any of the vehicles.

Fuel: Client is advised to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel, the same as collection.

Storage: Not available at the United depots.

Cleaning Fee: Indoor cleaning charges will apply if the vehicle is not returned clean.

GST: GST is applied to those items paid at time of collection.

Travel Restrictions:

• Motorhomes can only be driven on sealed/bitumen or well-maintained roads.
• No vehicle shall be driven on Skippers Road (Queenstown), Ninety Mile Beach (Northland), Ball Hut Road (Mt. Cook) and North of Colville Township (Coromandel Peninsula).
• United reserves the right at its sole discretion to restrict vehicle movements in certain areas due to adverse road or weather conditions.
