With excellent highways connecting all major attractions on the island, virtually everything can be reached within a short scenic drive. You can visit the warm and friendly city of Hobart in the south of the island, and check out all the sights in the area. Check out some famous local produce such as the Cascade Brewery or drive up Mount Wellington, a rugged peak rising up over 1200m above the city.
