Minimum / Maximum Days No min or max (with most suppliers) 21 - 175 Days
Residence Restrictions No restrictions. Available only to residents of NZ who reside outside the EU.
Minimum / Maximum Age Minimum age is usually 21 to 25, often with young driver surcharges. There may be a maximum age of 70, depending on the country and supplier. Minimum age of 18 years with a valid driver’s licence. No maximum age limit.
Pick Up / Return Pick up and return nearly anywhere. International one way rentals may incur drop off fees. Pick up and return in 30 centres around Europe. Locations outside France incur pick up and/or return fees.
Insurance Basic insurance included, extra cover requires an additional cost in most cases. Full insurance included with no excess to pay.
Taxes / VAT Rates include VAT of 16-20% or more. Airports and some city locations impose surcharges. Tax free - no VAT or airport/city fees.
