Begin the drive in Vancouver, where the mountains meet the sea. You will find Vancouver to be such a diverse and cultured city, and one that many people return to. Continue your drive north east for approximately 4 hours along the TransCanada highway, or until you are close to Okanagan Valley. This location is stunning and you will want to stop here for a couple of days at least to try the wine and perhaps even have a game of golf?

Travelling another 2.5 hours north you will arrive at your next destination, Revelstoke. A real and natural place where the air is so fresh, this is a destination where you can really relax and enjoy the natural wonders of the world. Take a hike through the forests and alpine meadows in the Glacier National Park. If you are looking for a place to stay, try the Revelstoke Mountain Resort - the views from here are even more amazing.

The drive through to your next destination is again not a long journey and you will continue to take in the beautiful fresh air. Continuing along TransCanada highway you arrive at Lake Louise in less than three hours. There are so many things to see and do at Lake Louise, which includes canoeing, hiking and much more! There are some delicious restaurants around the Lake Louise area, so try the local pubs or bakery and the Lake Louise Station restaurant.

Once you have taken in more of the natural wonders head onto your next stop, Jasper. So many places in Canada are friendly for all types of travellers and Jasper will always keep on giving. For the adventurous traveller try horseback riding, ice climbing, ice skating, biking, rock climbing, and white-water rafting. If you are the type of traveller that wants to take it a little easy then pop into the local spa & wellness centre, take a look at the galleries and museums or ride the Jasper Skytram which will make your jaw drop. Jasper has so much to offer you would be crazy not to pay this wonderful destination a visit!

Explore more of the landscapes by heading towards Clearwater. With local parks dotted along the way you won’t be looking for somewhere to stop for long. This is where the journey finishes up before heading back to Vancouver. Make the most of the outdoors with white-water rafting, mountain falls or even take a tour around Clearwater Lake. From Clearwater you are in for a 4 ½ hour drive back to Vancouver and the Burnaby Cariboo.
