Following the road south, the route goes through the Taubertal region, the Nördlinger Ries located in the middle of a giant crater, and the charming Lechfeld plain.
The next region is Pfaffenwinkel, a region famous for its churches and unspoiled landscape in the slopes of the Upper Bavarian Alps. Here, seek out the pilgrimage church Wieskirche in Steingaden, another World Heritage Site before ending up at our final destination in Fussen where you will find the famous King Ludwig's fairytale castles.
